Discover 10 improvements in 2024 that you may not know about in 2025
2024 was a year of innovation for e-Reinert. No fewer than 2,307 improvements, spread over 603 updates, have been put online, an average of more than two updates per working day. While continuing to function perfectly, e-Reinert is becoming smarter, faster and easier to use every day.
Some of the updates may have already jumped out at you, but we know that not everything is immediately apparent. That's why we've highlighted ten small improvements introduced in 2024 :
- 🔍 Search the order history using reference numbers
You can now search your order history using reference numbers, such as those for Bosch items (e.g. ‘VKN401’ or ‘P7143’). Useful for finding specific products without knowing their exact number.
- ❤️ Filter your list of favourites
Favourites are widely used. Garages with long lists of favourites can now filter by room, brand or other properties, making it easier to find what you're looking for.
- ⚡ Even faster performance
e-Reinert is even faster. For example, carry out a search for ‘oil filter’ and then for ‘air filter’: the results are often displayed instantly, with no waiting time.
- 🚗 Continue after an unsuccessful number plate search
No vehicles found for a number plate? Press Enter on the search page. If a vehicle can be matched, you can easily assign a make, model and type, and continue with the order.
- 🚫 No order button for unavailable items
In product lists, the order button and delivery time are now hidden if an item is not available individually or is undeliverable. This means you know immediately that there is no alternative option for ordering it.
- 📦 Smarter stock display
In the stock tab on the product page, we now take delivery distance into account. If two delivery times are identical, the shortest route will be displayed first.
- 🛒 Route optimisation for your orders
For large orders (five or more units of the same item), we now choose the optimum route to group deliveries from our warehouse to optimise delivery.
- ⚙️ Direct ERP error messages
In the event of a problem when ordering, e-Reinert now displays specific error messages from the ERP system (if supported). This allows garages to understand the situation immediately and reduces unnecessary calls.
- ⏱️ Rounded delivery times
Would you like to display rounded delivery times? You can configure them to be rounded to the nearest 5 minutes, for example. No more ‘1.49pm’, just a clear ‘1.50pm’.
- 💰 Automatic application of the correct VAT rate for each customer
e-Reinert now automatically applies the correct VAT rate depending on the country of the garage. Previously, the default rate was 21%, which had to be changed manually.
